Yeah, yeah, I have too many blogs already but I think I should do this. There are too many posts about Neopets scattered around those blogs already, it's hard to find anything in there. So I copied some of the Neopets related posts to this brand new blog "actually I just deleted the old content and use it for new purpose" and am currently editing the rest because they mix with other non-Neopets related content.

Currently I'm hooked to NeoQuest. It's a role playing game (RPG). I always fall for this kind of game. My favorites are Pokemon (Silver, Gold, etc). There are also another games I really like. Unfortunately, I don't remember their name. I've played them a long time ago and I've already lost the CD. Which is kinda disappointing because I still have one game unfinished but that's because it was glitched.

But the best RPG I've ever played is Digimon. I don't remember the full name of the game. Unlike the other RPG games I've played, its graphic is simply the best (haha chibi version of digimon!). The story line is cool too! What I like the most is the fight. Sure, it's like a card game (like in Yu-Gi-Oh) but I was really good at it. Most of the fight even the final one (really strong tough guy with super unfair strong support cards) are done in all 3 rounds! Oh, I love my cards! I've played this game over and over until it no longer works on my upgraded windows version. Oh, the lost.... I still miss it. I want to play it again. I might be able to find out how to make it work again now but I've also lost this CD! Arckkk!

Okay, back to NeoQuest. A long ago I tried this very same game. The skills I chose at the time are all offensive skills. Strong attack but low defense and no healing ability. I lost badly on the early stage which kinda sucks so I never played it again until recently (a few days ago haha).

This time, the skills set I chose are defensive and healing abilities. The reason I chose these is because I've played Kongregate's Monster Den (the link on the side board). So I know that all strong offensive abilities might not be a good way to go especially if your opponents are almost always stronger than you. Even if you win, you will lose a lot of Health Point (I know it's actually called Hit Point but Health Point make more sense). So either you stack up a lot of Healing Potion which will be gone very quickly OR you can stack up defensive and healing abilities. These are the important ones:

Defensive Ability
Evasion (evade physical attacks entirely)
Absorption (absorb your enemy's attack and use it to heal yourself slightly)
Reflex (your opponent's damage is reflected back on them)

Healing Abilities
Field Medic (regenerate your Health during the fight)
Lifesteal (when your attack, some of the damage might be returned to you as Health)

I absolutely love my defensive abilities. It's so fun watching your enemy hurt themselves by their own during. The best part is they can't hit me. If they do hit me, it's turned out to heal me instead :D My healing abilities are cool too. Combining these two type of abilities, I am almost always win my fight easily and for the record, I have no offensive abilities at all. All my attacks are normal attack but I might need stronger attacks in the future. Who knows?

Anyway, I rarely have to use the Healing Potions in my fight. Right now, I have a full and almost full stacks of Weak Healing Potions and Standard Healing Potions which is a good thing because The Boss is usually hard to beat so I might need those to help me win the fight.

NeoQuest is fun but I have a few things I dislike about this game. Unlike most RPG I've played, the map here is like a big difficult maze. I know I'm a bit of direction challenged but I am not usually this bad! I mean I don't even know where I am right now O_o

Not only that, I don't know the point of this game. I just walk along the cave and keep going down the level and collecting stuff from the monsters. I don't know who The Boss is and if there is actually a Boss. There are not much people to talk to but so much fights every single way.

I think it's gonna take a loooooong time to finish this game. Good thing the fight is fun (Yay, Absoption!) or I would be so bored to continue with this game. So, yeah.. since I'm focusing on NeoQuest right now I might not spend a lot of time on Kongregate's Monster Den (the link on the side board) for now. :) Wish me luck on getting the avatars~

New Guild Layout and Software Issues

Hehe, what is wrong with me? I can't stop making layout for the guild. It's really fun playing with the layouts. The coding part is good too but I prefer the graphic editing part :)

Here is how the graphic for the layout looks like:

The graphics are free and easy to get. I usually get my images from the Full Screen, Collectable Cards, Sketches, Tiled, Images, Shop Blogs, Screensavers, Music and Gift Tags sections available on Neopets. But of course, you can pretty much get cool graphics from every single page there too. All of the graphics are only free to use on Neopets though.

I wonder if the layout I make would look better if I use any major graphic programs like Adobe Photoshop. Currently I'm using MS Paint as always. I do have the installer for Adobe Photoshop though courtesy of my previous diploma course session but it's the pirated version. I'm feeling a bit guilty of using it because I didn't pay for it. I feel like I'm robbing someone's paycheck.

It's the same with Macromedia Dreamweaver too. That's the major reason why I didn't update my website (real website made for an assignment in during my diploma course) even though I should. Yeah yeah I know, there's NVU and a lot of other freely available to use programs but I haven't try any of those yet.

Anyway, because of this complicated issue, I rarely touch those two programs. I used to have a lot more pirated softwares installed on my computers since everyone use them and most computer shops pre-install these free of charge. It's like a custom here. Only companies will use legit version and that's probably because they are afraid of being sued. I really feel guilty though so I removed the others except for these two because I need them for practice.

I am so hoping I can remove these or buy the legit version as soon as possible. Free softwares can be as good as the paid commercial softwares but the learning curves can be harsh. That's why I keep stalling.

Okay, enough of that rambling and back to the layout. Since the last layout I made and coded for the guild is just 5 days ago and it got very positive response from guild members, I am not going to replace it with this one yet. But, I did show this layout to Nikki and she said she totally love it! :) Me too. It's kinda hard to believe I'm using MS Paint for this.

Ha~ I so wish the day I could make earth-shattering layouts will come soon (unlikely)!

New Guild Layout

I updated Guild Homepage Layout yesterday. It looks really good, way better than before :) The side house is a nice touch. I think it's really match our neohome themed guild. Other guild members gave very positive responses. I love it too!

See the differences? I added some space in the header for the menu. I don't know how to do this in the previous layout so some functionality has to be sacrificed for the sake of beautiful layout. I'm sure other guild members share the same feeling with me because I am so very glad the navigation menu back! It makes it easier for me to move around the guild. Other than that, I also added copyright notice in the footer graphic.

My only complain about the layout is I can't make it compact without ruining the look. I want to make it compact so people don't have to scroll down the page to find various things. The problem is there are just too much stuff stuffed in there. So I quit trying to make the compact version of this layout for now.

I'll try to make a compact and nice looking layout next time but I might need to remove some of the stuff. In fact, right now, I'm studying the codes of other guilds' homepage layouts to learn more about it even though I'm sleepy.

But, I don't think I get to learn a lot like this. :) Maybe I'll just go to sleep. Unfortunately, I'm scared! I'm alone at home now. Mom's staying at aunt's house. I don't think I can sleep tonight. Thanks goodness only 4 hours to go before morning.. :Z

Or... I could just leave the PC on (sorry, electricity!). I'm going to sleep. Sweet dreams!

New Year Resolution

I've just noticed I haven't make any new year resolution yet. Well, I have a bunch of projects, ambitions, goals, or whatever you call it that I haven't finish yet but that's probably because they are long-term goals. So for short term goals I want to achieve this year are:

Get a job
Maintain the job for one year
Throw away unnecessary stuff in my bedroom
Create a system to maintain a clean and tidy bedroom
Wake up early every morning
Get 8 hours sleep every day
Maintain a clean and tidy kitchen and bathroom everyday
Create custom layout for my Neopets user lookup
Update Magromile's petpage
Update Gorgannnn's petpage
Update Meiyyko's petpage
Update Ugjgh's petpage

That's enough for twelve months I think.

Advent Calendar Day 31

I'm late. Too much excitement yesterday. I feel like doing nothing afterwards. Well, there were two guys interviewed me. They are both nice and it seems like they like me. I don't know if I'll be accepted though because the position is more suitable for guys than for girls since the products are exclusively for men. We'll see this Monday if I get it or not.

I don't know whether I'm excited or horrified by the prospect of going to work there.

Pro:

It's a lab.
A lot female workers, only 4 male workers.
Tasks do not involve phone calling anyone.
Tasks involve blogging, maintain website, answers customers' question by emails and SMS, newsletter and such. In other words, these are my hobbies.

Contra:

Products are exclusively for men so the questions I have to answer are gonna be a little bit weird for a girl to hear and answer. Things might get awkward.
I prefer female boss.
I don't know if I can communicate with the boss. I prefer not to talk to anyone, even the boss.
I prefer to work at home.

Seriously, I'm a coward. I don't know if I can handle this. Half of me excited to accept this job. Another half is totally scared and wish for me to look for another job like a normal clerk or cashier. Seriously, I don't know. I keep making excuses. This is a waste of time.

Let's just wait and see.

Oh, while waiting, they ask me to study Aweber. Looks kinda easy.

New Guild Layout

On my previous post, I mentioned that I've been working on the new guild layout. This one is different than my previous guild layouts I made because I completely remove the outside world from the homepage. Not only that, I also edited header, footer and background images using MS Paint. I've never done these before. It actually turned out good. Well, it looks good on my test page.

Here is what it looks like on the test page with different browsers:

Google Chrome shows the border the way I want it to but IE handles this differently. Okay, so the border is only 1 pixel so it's hard to see on the picture. So to show how different it handles this, I add my own border up there just to give the idea.

2 days ago I tried the layout on guild homepage. It ended up looking quite different that the ones on the test pages. O_o

It became quite different because I need to tweak the codes and I'm not sure how to fix certain parts. I have vague memory, I don't remember which part I'm talking about but it probably has something to do with the Neopets html filter or the graphic does not repeat the way I want it to.

It doesn't look bad like this but.... I didn't get that "Wow, this is an amazing layout!" feeling. ^^ Oh well, I won't stop trying until I get that feeling. I do feel like I'm untalented but I like this kind of thing. Since I have no talent in anything, why not just choose the one I like best? :) Yay, go me! Try your best!

On another related event, I applied for my first serious job yesterday after being coaxed (forced) endlessly by my mom. I guess she's right. I'm just trying to run away but I seriously think I have no talent in IT especially in web designing. I'm just a regular people who know just a little bit more than normal housewives. Is that something to be proud of? I don't even dare to apply for IT related job.

I know people have been telling me that I'm a good student, fast learner, good in programming, and drawing.. but I can't help feeling like a nobody. Wherever I go on the internet, there are just endless people who are better than me in whatever I'm doing.

Anyway, I applied for a Web Designer position. My mom said that my resume is actually impressive and what more impressive is that they actually CALLED ME today for an interview this Thursday. I'm really nervous right now. What if I can't do what they tell me to do even though I have the right qualification? Sure, I would do my best but.....

Haihhh, why can some people be happy-go-lucky and I'm one of the worrywarts, gloomy, shy, negative people? I tried, I really do try to be more confident but sometimes I ended up being overconfident which is worse. So I am always worried.

I hope I would do well. I hope I'll get this job and I hope this job will last for a long long time. I hope they will like me. I hope I will be happy there. I hope I'll be a better person.

I didn't recognize that guy (I thought it's a guy) until I see the prizes. TNT made it look so cartoonish. *snicker* Poor Balthazar... it got ice-cubed! :) It always try to eat the petpets. Now it's time for revenge, muahahaha!!! >D I see that Kacheek (the petpets herder or bodyguard) has already started its revenge and that Babaa still looks as clueless as ever... Wow, a lot of things happen in guild today (or is it yesterday?) when I'm not around! Lol, a lot of things always happen when I'm not around. Now I wonder if I'm a party-pooper? :P Hehehe...

We have new activity now and it's called Current Events. I wonder why use Current Event instead of Events of The Week? Current Events sounds like an update page :P hehehe... Arghh, shut up already! Bronco is great! She always have great idea for our guild! :D Besides, after seeing the activity and the description, I think Current Events is a suitable name.

Well, the story goes like this:

The little Jetsam was looking at toys in a toy shop. He was totally captured by a beautiful toy train. He imagined what it will be like being in train. What if he is a train conductor? He will be excited for sure! Suddenly a disaster is about to occur. They were going to go across the mountain but the train trail they were going to use broke! Eh, the control broke too? What are they going to do now? They were about to crash! What? He actually got caught up in his daydream? Hehehe, what a funny guy ^^

He has an active imagination, isn't he? Anyway, the animation is too long to be put on a picture. It won't look good either. Just look at those previous overly long pictures I edited. So I thought maybe it's actually better to use a picture that looks like a picture. So I might redo those posts and use picture with single frame in it in every post or use the actual animation video. I don't know which is better but I am fond of the first option. It seems more personalized and fun :)

Well, today's Advent Calendar animation isn't that... exciting. So I procrastinated and coded a guild layout instead. I haven't tried it on the actual guild homepage yet so I don't know if it'll work. This is my first time editing pictures for background slices. I think it looks really great.

I am taking the screen shots right now. They're all really big in width and height so I'm gonna post them in different post. O_o I'm still worried Photobucket would reduce the size though... Why do I have to be so detailed? That post is gonna be really long. :P :)

Done! Seriously easy! By the way, I use Google Chrome.

I have to agree. This one is so heartwarming. I love Granpa Buzz's laughter. I love the vibes of this scene. I don't know what is it that makes it feels like this. It's like they're satisfied about something. They have something invaluable and wouldn't trade it for money.

We went to aunt's house alright. I fell asleep right away once we arrived so I didn't get any chance to try the internet. When I woke up in the morning... It was a freakin' disaster.

The instruction for Celcom Broadband Daily Subscription is easy enough to understand.

1. First, check for the broadband information to make sure of the fee, etc:
Dial *118# > Broadband > Info

2. There's no reason to subscribe if you can't use it so next, you need to check if this service is available in your area:
Dial *118# > Broadband > Check Coverage

3. To Subscribe:
Then dial *118# again > Broadband > Subscribe Daily Broadband

4. To check for subscription status (end period, etc):
Dial *118# > Broadband > Subscription Status

This part was done with no problem. Then came the seemingly another easy part.
1. Install Nokia N73 PC Suite from CD provided by manufacturer
2. Connect cellphone to PC by usb wire or bluetooth (I'm opting for bluetooth)
3. Connect to internet with cellphone as the modem

First part is easy. Second part is easy but tricky. I keep getting bluetooth device is not enabled error but I just have to click Apply in the bluetooth setting in Acer ePM whenever I get this error. I don't even have to change a thing, just click Apply. Weird, huh? The third... is a major disaster.

I either get error something about modem is not configured properly/busy or One Touch Access totally stopped working altogether. So I keep uninstalling and reinstalling Nokia PC Suite.

I was really frustated though and I knew it. So I thought I should relieve some tension by accessing the internet from the cellphone and went to Wonderland Online homepage to collect credit for 19th December 2009. At least if something bad happened, one of my goal is still safe.

I didn't go to Neopets because I can't capture the screen shot from the cellphone. It's not the prizes I'm trying to catch, it's just that I want to store my memory of Advent Calendar 2009 and my thoughts of it. Therefore it's no use to go to Neopets if I can't have the video screenshot.

Anyway, I felt better after that and less rushed and impatient. I went back trying to figure out the problem which is not helpful at all because I have no experience in this. So I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling Nokia PC Suite again.

Okay, so that was kinda stupid but the problem is I don't know what else to do since this is my first time trying to connect to internet with cellphone as modem through bluetooth (and usb wire but the wire head is loose so it's totally unreliable and I would be stupid to even think of using it for this purpose). Then I tried searching Google for solution in the cellphone. Not much I found except one answerer suggests downloading the latest PC Suite instead if you're using Window Vista.

So I did download the latest program in the cellphone. I thought I'll transfer it later into the laptop. It's not Nokia PC Suite though because Nokia Ovi Suite looks better by this point. The file size is about 60MB so it took awhile.

By the time it finish download, it's almost 4 o'clock already (12 AM in Neopets time). I really need to hurry or I'll miss Advent Calendar Day 19 video and prizes. I installed it in the laptop and guess what? It works! I also found out that the Access Point is actually celcom.net.my (for postpaid). You can check for this information by going to Menu > Tools > Settings > Connection > Access Points.

The reason I didn't know this is because the instruction I read in the .pdf file I got from Celcom website didn't mention anything about Access Point. So I keep missing this necessary step to connect to internet.

Now I can connect to internet but only 10 minutes left! Woa, come on browser! Faster!

Guess what? IE is not responding! Well, so I have to restart the application a couple of times. OHHHHH!!!!! This is so unfair!!! Guess what now? The 10 minutes were over! I missed the Advent Calendar for 19th December 2009! I really wanted to choke my little sister precious neck at that moment and curse everyone to oblivion and oooh, don't forget, hit, smash, jump on the stupid laptop and cellphone!

This is so not going to happen if she didn't want to go to Pesta Pulau Pinang which requires she and mom to go to aunt's house. But I have to go too because I am needed to test whether Celcom Broadband Daily service is suitable for her use and where else is better for the test than a place without internet? I am cranky all morning and day too because I was having problem to connect to internet. THEY, the culprits, made it totally worse by saying "Oh, stop trying already. It's okay if it doesn't work".

Ooooh, not only you guys dragged me here, you ruined one of my goal (which was not to miss a day during Neopets' Advent Calendar 2009), now you can't even be supportive and make this pain and troubles actually worthwhile having?! NO WAY! So I kept trying and be a spoilsport to anyone who wants to use the laptop AND cellphone for fun! Until I get it, you won't get it either.

Anyway back to the unresponding IE and various restarts, I didn't know what the problem is. Maybe it's the connection speed because it is really slow to open any website. So by this point, I thought maybe it's only fast in cellphone but not in the laptop. So I didn't try anything anymore.

I went to Neopets to do what I usually do this past week :) I captured the screen shot for Advent Calendar Day 20. I didn't post it on the blog at that time because websites load very slow. I thought I'll do it later at home. I have the screen shot already anyway. Then I went to sleep.

I woke up around 11-12PM. I ate then tried to access Blogger to post on Log Makanan Harian through cellphone because it's faster than the laptop. I can sign in but for some reason the webpage keeps disappearing and I'm back at N73 front menu. Because I tried this a lot of time, I got different errors. Something about gate not responding.

That's why I'm here. I don't know why I changed the Access Point to #99. Maybe I want to test the speed with different Access Point. Anyway, I saw that the cellphone use celcom (for prepaid) as Access Point even though we all use celcom postpaid. So I changed the Access Point in Nokia Ovi Suite to celcom. I'm glad I did it because the speed is wayyyy better than before :)

I can even open multiple tabs without problems. Finally, it worths it in the end.

I found out that fgn-guild actually saved the Advent Calendar animation. I don't know know how they do it yet.

I don't know how should I feel about this. To find out that there is actually a website that have both the animation and prize's screenshot, I wonder if I should have gone to collect my prizes anyway and then capture the screenshot later there?

Or should I collect my prizes without taking screen shots ever again? There's no need for me to do so if the animation is already available on the web, right? Afterall my reason for taking the screenshots is because I want my own something and I haven't seen it on other websites (until today).

I feel stupid for getting so worked out about this game.

O_o Quite possibly the grossest and ugliest Advent Calendar flash video ever.. Eww! That mistletoe was stuck in Meuka and they're giving us those?!

If you don't know who's Meuka is, he's a mutated Meerca that is formed entirely of mucus! He's origin is unknown.

Actually the prizes aren't that bad IF they're neohome items. It looks slimy so it would look great in old kitchen, dirty washroom, seldom used storage room or disaster stricken room. Unfortunately, they're Wearables so... Um, is there anyone who would actually let their pets wear these?

I updated my Magromile's petpage layout and ended up with this! My first thought is woa.... I don't expect it to be this good!

It looks awesome to me. This is the first time the layout I coded actually looks really good AND professional! Of course I still need to work with the scrollbar but that is a small matter because it looks fine just like that anyway. :)

I forgot to demonstrate how the link will look like when a mouse hover over it in my screen shot. Just in case you want to know, the link and the line below it will change color to blue.

Broncosfan1000 doesn't like this theme though. I guess I have to agree with her. While it looks good, the colors totally blinded me so I changed the colors to this!

I realized that all this screen shots belong to Neopets even though I am the one who edited the Advent Calendar Day 13 and 14 images in this blog. Therefore I removed the texts on the images because they aren't mine.

I have also saved all the Advent Calendar images' in both BMP and JPG format. The BMP files are the original files I saved in MS Paint while JPG files are the files I am going to reupload on Photobucket. I've removed all the previous Advent Calendar images on Photobucket and replaced those with the new JPG files. I know it's not really logical because Photobucket automatically convert my BMP files to JPG files every single time. I don't know why either but I do it anyway.

Because of this, the order of the Advent Calendar images in my Photobucket account is in mess. Sorry!

I am not good at this kind of game. So I pretty much give up on Super Hasee Bounce after a few tries.

Spinacles is just too easy but you have to be patient. All you have to do is keep the level going as long as possible because there is no time limit at all and few colors. So don't finish a level too early even if you can. I got mine on first try I think.

Barf Boat is.. I don't know.. it's easy if you're not high-strung while playing it. I don't get enough score playing this game at all even though usually I could easily score 400 and more. I think it's because of my short attention span at the time, probably tired from playing all these games. Someone suggested playing in Extreme Mode. It gives out more point at shorter time but a lot harder than the regular. I tried it and after a few tries, I finally beat the score. :)

I read Atlas of the Ancients Plot Trophy and Prize Guide on SunnyNeo.

The trophy I got here is called Rock. Anyone who joined the plot but didn't finished the first 11 steps get this trophy. I only missed one step. I think player can still upgrade the trophy by completing the steps but I don't know for sure. I finished step 11 and got the prize just a while ago so it's a possibility.

I have a hard time with Cave Glider though so maybe I won't ever get to finish this one step. I need to score at least 2,500 in this game but I keep bumping on stuff on level two.

Anyway, I feel kinda sad that this plot has ended already. It just that this plot is easy enough even for people like me but I just didn't finish it because I was discourage to continue after failing that one step. This plot is unlike the other plot where you have to finish each step before you can continue to another step. For me to even failed this.. I feel like a weakling.

On the happier note, I got my trophy, a new avatar, a new site theme AND a lot of prizes from joining this plot. :)

Mmmmm... The pies always look delicious (exception for anything related to gross food, maggot, snot, fish, ham and dung)! I wonder how this would taste like in real life. Guild Layout (Winter Theme) and Advent Calendar

I took a few hours to rewrite the code. It's quite hard to find the right colors combination and images to use. There are so many images that fit winter theme but the problem is that they are mostly Christmas related too.

Christmas is a religious event so I can't celebrate it. That's why I choose winter theme. It's neutral but still a fitting present for my guild mates. Anyway, I finally find the right colors and images to use.

It's better than before, isn't it? The background is made by broncosfan1000 and the images are from Neopets. I just coded the layout. the_awsome_2x2 said it looks really cute.

The reason why there is a blank spot below the layout is because I am in the council. Non council members don't have that Admin box. They won't see any blank spot there. :) I forgot to mention that before.

By the way, Advent Calendar has already started (every December) so don't forget to collect your gift everyday ^_^

Catching On With Guild Members

The internet disconnected again but I don't really feel the lose because we went to aunt's house for a couple of days. If there is anything that I missed, it's my house. That's what I thought at first but now... There are a lot of changes made when I checked back on after 5 days.

Neopets:
~ My guild is suddenly active. I guess that should have been expected when a talkative girl (broncosfan1000) and veteran classic neohomer (wowimaginethat) joined in. :) Apparantly wowimaginethat complained that our guild is totally inactive. So now I see a lot of discussions (and chat) between the_awsome_2x2, broncosfan1000, and wowimaginethat about this in our guild message board.
~ Oh, we now collect Guild Donation. Members can do it here.

   While I am glad that we have active members now and a lot of activities now, I'm also worried that I will missed out a lot of things. I'm naturally a bystander. I don't really join in a group conversation. I prefer one on one conversation and do my things behind the scene. I don't feel as left out before because I am the one who do half of the job in the guild and the_awsome_2x2 always talk to me and ask me for helps.

   Since I'm not talkative or cheerful or super nice, generous and so on, that's the only way I can contribute. Now that broncosfan1000, an artist, doer and diplomat by nature and wowimaginethat the one with great imagination are here, I'm pretty sure I won't have as much stuff to do anymore. Aww... man.....

  On the happier thinking, the marquee broncosfan1000 added on our Guild Homepage looked fun. So I made some changes in the Neohome Spotlight Winners page and added TWO marquees too lol :D

   What with this wavy feeling? Up, down, up and down again? Anyway, I was a bit worried that the Guild Donation thing is against the rules but after checking the The Neopets Team (TNT) rules, there's nothing to worry about. Guild Shop and Auction are not prohibited. Lol see what I meant? Now I'm up again! Ah, whatever!

   Hm, the_awsome_2x2 has announced this week Neohome Spotlight Winner. It's wowimaginethat again. :) Congratulation, wowimaginethat! Her house is really really great. Here's a glimpse to what her classic neohome looks like:

Amazing, isn't it? She's so creative. Here's the link to wowimaginethat's house. Right now, her house is one of the best in our Guild. I'm sure we'll have more creative classic neohomer in the future ;) We even have one in the making, the_awsome_2x2. Her house is great even though she is actually a newcomer. :) There are a lot of empty rooms though.

Ack, actually that's not the reason why I brought this up. It's just that I have my Photobucket account and the_awsome_2x2 has hers. I am wondering if we could share a folder just for guilds pictures. I got sidetracked but I just love that state of art house of hers! Lol, her words not mine but yeah, I agree. :)

Lol, see? It moves my heart! :D Which reminds me that mom always say that I look like someone in love. I am always look and act like I'm in my own world. She wonders what would I be like when I really fall in love. I wonder about that too.

Anyway that's all for now. This post is getting too long. Here's a picture I drew during this week "no internet" episode to end this post. I made it for Usul Day Drawing Contest but I can't send it on time because of this incident so I'm posting it here instead. Hmm... I think I'm gonna post it on one of my pet page too.

Updated Guild Layout For Thanksgiving Day

Today, I updated the guild layout upon request by broncosfan1000 :) She wants to put turkey in the layout because Thanksgiving Day is just around the corner. I don't celebrate it but I like this kind of stuff so why not :)

New Guild Layout

My guild is called Neohome: Classic Edition. We used the original layout and just changed the colors. Our Halloween theme layout doesn't look bad at all but for some reason the_awsome_2x2 changed it. She says something about cannot use it forever. I missed that layout and I regret not taking a screen shot. Oh well...

She changed the layout colors to skyblue, gray and dark gray. I don't remember if there's any other color. Anyway it's depressing and looks really bad and awkward especially after we rearrange the stuff on it. So since I got nothing to do anyway and this thing really bugs me, I took the challenge to create our own guild custom layout. I'm still a newbie (NOOB!) and this is my first attempt at guild layout.

I took about 8-10 hours to finish it (I know I'm slow). Then it takes another 1~2 days to tweak it after receiving some response from the_awsome_2x2. Here is what it looks like now:

Pretty nice, huh? The other four boxes slide down when the mouse hovers on them.

I'm still not sure how to remove or rearrange components like moving the poll box to the right side, remove the council box and such. And then, I'm not sure how to make my own layout using any paint program.

I want to try painting and coding other type of layout but the_awsome_2x2 said she really likes this one *excited* so I maybe I should wait for another season or year before I do that. Right now.. I'm practicing my CSS on Gorgannnn's petpage but it doesn't look like anything right now.

I hope someday I will be able to create great custom layout :)

Joining New Guild in Neopia

I joined a guild several months back but I wasn't an active member. But, about one months ago the_awsome_2x2, The SUPREME MASTER (highest Rank in Guild Council) put me on Guild Council as Little Master (second highest Rank in Guild Council). We are close friends but nowadays we only talk about guild related stuff. I miss our more personal conversations.

Anyway I'm the brain of the Neohome: Classic Edition Guild but the executions of the idea are done by the_awsome_2x2. Our guild is still new. That's one reason why I like it. I wish to be an active member but in matured guild I don't think that will happen.

In this new guild I help maintaining Guild Homepage, Guild Forum and Guild Chat Board. Recently, I had created a webbie (extension to guild homepage). It's not great but it's okay as a starter. We don't have a lot of active members so it's fine for now. There are only 2 active members in this guild anyway, me and the_awsome_2x2.

:D Lol, I actually drove her crazy with my suggestions. She has a lot of things to do in her to do list. We both have that list that lists all my ideas and let me assure you, it's NOT short at all and that's only after a few weeks! But of course, we have different things to do even though we have the same list.

I'm mostly work on designs, idea and... I lost the words but it has something to do with archiving. She on the other hand do the greetings, speech, making stuff happens and so on. She's only 14 or so and yet she's a better leader, speaker and executer than me who is 21 years old. I'm feel so ashamed sometimes. :D
